CAE Associates exhibited at the 12th Annual Geotechnical Seminar: Infrastructure Repair & Geotechnical Engineering, on Friday, September 25th at the Hawthorne Inn in Berlin, CT. The event was sponsored by the Deep Foundations Institute and the Connecticut Society of Civil Engineers (CSCE). The day-long seminar discussed various topics and the progress of several well known geotechnical engineering projects.
Peter Barrett, M.S.C.E., Vice President of CAE Associates, showcased CivilFEM software and its robust geotechnical capabilities. CivilFEM integrates seamlessly with ANSYS FEA software to provide the most robust solution for geotechnical design simulations. ANSYS and CivilFEM automate the development of nonlinear material models (soils and rocks), layered terrains, retaining wall design, seepage analysis, slope stability analysis, tunneling, and foundation pile design.
